Train services between Par and Newquay are being disrupted due to a landslip in the Goonbarrow area. Engineers are working as fast as possible to restore services to normal. Short notice cancellations can be expected.

The railway line is expected to be closed for the rest of the day. Road Transport will be in operation.

17:08 Bristol Temple Meads to Severn Beach due 17:45

18:22 Severn Beach to Bristol Temple Meads due 19:00

With all  these trains being cancelled they must have a very large fine bill.

 Cool

I think there are weekend exemptions - at least Sundays are not counted and I wonder about Saturdays too.  There may be fine print in the commercial agreement, and there may be a honeymoon period given especially on the ex-Wessex services which accounted for nearly 90% of the cancellations listed.

We haven't even had a complete Monday to Firday service scheduled since 22nd December - 9 days and counting - and the optimistic and hopeful comment should be that the engineering side are putting trains to right in a major way.  We'll see, come mid next week.
