That's slightly later off Westbury, and a slightly faster journey.   Sensible move, as under the previous timings it had a slow run from Melksham to Chippenham and often had to wait for the preceeding HST up from Bath.  But on a scaleof  1 to 100 in terms of significant improvement, it only scores about 3;  the later departure from Westbury still doesn't bring in any connection from Salisbury, Warminster and Dilton Marsh.

At the other end of the day, the 18:44 from Swrindon used to start at Worcester Foregate Street at 17:02; it now starts back at Great Malvern at 16:49.
