Salisbury Station Northern Entrance To Close?
« on: April 07, 2009, 07:33:38 PM »

South West Trains has submitted a planning application that could see the closure of the northern entrance to Salisbury railway station (link below.)
http://www.salisburyjournal.co.uk/news/4271067.Plan_to_close_entrance_at_railway_station/

The company wants to install a row of ticket barriers in the main concourse of the station and put up security fencing around all five platforms.

A consultation period is now underway and comes to an end on April 30.
