Sunday train traffic
« on: January 29, 2009, 07:49:39 AM »

Even on a Sunday evening ... (this is last Sunday) ... there were at least ten people at Chippenham to join the only Southbound TransWilts train of the day, at 18:47 ... just imagine how many there would be if it was a 'proper' service.

You may wonder what I was doing up there, and how I got there.

With just one train in the day, it didn't actually connect properly for the customer who was coming to us ... his train arrived in eight minutes later and I wasn't about to have him looking for a taxi on a Sunday evening, or awaiting the 06:30!
