Cancellation Log
« on: December 08, 2005, 06:06:10 AM »

This is becoming a worn our subject.   We shouldn't let the b***tards get us down, though  Grin

Last Thursday - evening PEAK train.   Due to planned engineering works OR to the lack of a driver for a Portsmouth train from Westbury and the crew being taken from "The Swindon".  Take your pick - both reasons from sources that should be reliable

Sunday - at least some of the trains were off (service suspended totally??) due to Great Western West Country diversions through Melksham

Monday - evening peak train cancelled again.

Getting beyond a joke.  I can understand / accept occasional cancellations but this is starting to look like dreadful lack of foresight / planning at the best, and something more sinister and calculated at worst.
