TfL Board Shake-Up Gives New Role To Ex-GNER Chief

Former GNER chief executive Christopher Garnett has been made deputy chairman of the Transport for London board (link below.)

Garnett, who led GNER, which was succeeded by National Express East Coast, will deputise for chairman Tim Parker, the former chief executive of the AA.

Garnett's appointment is subject to the confirmation hearing process of the London Assembly.
