Bradford on Avon to Severn Valley Railway trip

As far as I can see, there are no train connections at all available into this excursion from Westbury, Trowbridge, Melksham, Chippenham or Swindon, with the first trains calling at Bradford-on-Avon some considerable time after the coach has left.

I wish them best of luck with this trip - just a shame it's a Sunday which as Graham rightly points out isn't brilliant if you need to use public transport to get to Bradford!

There would be a lot to be said for a "seven day railway", wouldn't there, Jim?   At least from the customer's viewpoint!

Indeed - no longer does on the railway Sunday seem like a day off. There was once a time where hardly anyone traveled on a Sunday......
