Since breaking through the £1 a litre barrier, the price of unleaded petrol has reached new highs in west and north Wiltshire (link below.) http://www.wiltshiretimes.co.uk/news/latestheadlines/display.var.2236633.0.petrol_prices_up_by_9pc_in_six_months.phpA Wiltshire Times survey of 19 garages carried out on Tuesday, shows the average price of unleaded petrol has shot up almost nine per cent in the space of six months. For a litre of unleaded petrol the average price has now reached 110p. In November a survey of the same garages came out with an average price of 101p a litre. The price of diesel per litre has broken through the 120p barrier at most garages in the districts.
