Recommended service - hourly, according to the GWRUS. Let's work towards that service and towards ensuring all services are used.

No trains at a time they WOULD be used?
« on: December 04, 2005, 06:47:25 AM »

Wessex trains are closing their services from 20:00 with all services suspended by 22:00 - which in the case of Melksham means that the evening trains (21:50 to Swindon and 22:51 to Westbury) will NOT be running.

Wouldn't you think that on a night that people want to go out and have a drink that the public transport would be running and running on later too?   There's a don't drink and drive campaign this Christmas and New Year and it would have been really great if some alternatives to the car were on offer in the wee hours
