Wye Valley Line May Become Cycle Route
« on: April 20, 2008, 03:46:31 PM »

The line, between Chepstow, Tintern and Brockweir, passes through two disused railway tunnels (link below.)

The project would involve building a new lightweight bridge at Tintern Old Station across the River Wye.

Plans have been submitted to Forest of Dean district and Monmouthshire county councils. The scheme is being sponsored by transport charity, Sustrans.
