Derby Control Centre Officially Opens

A £15m railway control centre in Derby has officially opened its doors (link below.)

The facility will eventually control signalling and operations for the whole of the East Midlands rail network.

All signalling controls will be brought into the centre over the next decade as infrastructure is upgraded.
