New signage here too, please!

Congratulation to First on new welcoming signage at Bradford-on-Avon station

Now - please can we have something similar for Melksham?  (And some more trains to being people in to see the sign would be nice too!)

Thank You!

We have a new sign - from the train as you get out, you see

and when you've gone out of the station gate and round into the car park (assuming you're parked there), you see

I'm surprised at the decision to have a sign indicating the exit from the car park towards the town and facilities, rather than having one on the platform - my personal thought is that would have been more appropriate to have the sign the other way around, but perhaps there's a good reason or a legal requirement for it to be done as it is.

Perhaps FGW are trying to discourage potential passengers from going onto the platform as it's unlikely a train will stop there within about 10 hours!  Wink
