The first three journeys continue on to Salisbury and Southampton giving a valuable direct service between Swindon and these cities.

On Satuday, four trains run (the timings differ slightly, and the first train does not run)
On Sunday, three trains run (timings vary again, and neither of the morning trains runs.

Until early November, weekend engineering works mean that the trains on Saturdays and Sundays are replace by buses - doubling the journey time of around 40 to 45 minutes.
