Hi all, How many time you spend on visitings of forums?  For me the forums are my life. And for you? Edit by Graham - I have edited the post to remove the links that were hidden in the text to off-topic items. Sorry, but we're not interested in adverts for pharmaceutical products, gambling sites, etc .... we're much more concerned with the train service! |

The extra information that I have as moderator of this board points to a visitor who is not based in the UK - indeed, to a far-away country. I'm very happy when we get genuine visitors from anywhere - indeed, we've had some useful comparisions with rail services in other parts of the world in the past. However, I also have to delete one or two posts every week that are clearly and only adverts for services not relevant to the board, and are outside our AUP (acceptable user policy). The fullstop links that I have now removed provided a link to what I consider an off-topic advert. Search engines would have indexed them in due course, and that would have helped the ranking of those sites. I have no objection to helping the rank of associated useful sites, and if Sanenukka would like to follow up this thread with on-topic comments and provide us with a discussion which includes comment about how his/her site are relevant and re-add the links, then I would welcome it. |
