Rail passengers in Warwickshire faced diversions and delays after signalling equipment was vandalised (link below.)

Cross Country services between Coventry and Leamington Spa were diverted around Solihull and were unable to call at Birmingham International.

A Network Rail spokesman said cables were spread across the train tracks in Kenilworth during the early hours, causing signals in the area to fail.
