Shops at one of London's busiest transport hubs have joined forces with the police to help combat crime (link below.) http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/england/london/7208606.stmStaff at outlets in Victoria station have begun using a radio system which puts them in direct contact with the local police team. British Transport Police said trials of the Shop Watch scheme had resulted in a 6% drop in theft at the terminal. |
