Rail Line Between Wolverhampton And Shrewsbury To Close For Nine Days

A railway line between Wolverhampton and Shrewsbury is closing for nine days for engineering works (link below.)

New signalling is being installed between Codsall and Telford which , coincidentally , is very close to the site of a proposed new railfreight terminal (link below.)

It is also close to the Ironbridge Power Station (see map on Page 2 of the link below.)

The line from Ironbridge & Telford , via Codsall , to Wolverhampton is projected to acheive high - level tonnage growth to 2015 (Page 10 , Figure 9 of the link above.)
