First Great Western has rolled out cashless parking to more than 60 station car parks across the South and West of England (link below.)

First Great Western's Commercial Director, Tom Stables, explains: "This initiative is part of First Great Western’s commitment to improving the customer's total journey experience and parking is an important part of that process."

Tom continues: "One innovative aspect of RingGo is that a parking session can be extended by making a simple phone call, from wherever you are. This is great when a meeting overruns or the party’s too good to leave! RingGo definitely heralds a new era in parking."

"First Great Western's station car parks are run by APCOA, the parking specialists. APCOA were tasked with finding innovative ways of offering rail travellers a better service. They chose RingGo."

"First has the clear vision to 'Transform Travel' and become the number one public transport provider."

It must be Friday again....
