Plans to charge drivers at railways station car parks in Fife have been thrown out by councillors (link below.) http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/scotland/edinburgh_and_east/7194374.stmFife Council had been considering introducing a charge to deal with overcrowding at four stations. The proposal to bring in a £1 fee would have affected commuters who travel from Leuchars, Kirkcaldy, Inverkeithing and Dunfermline railways stations. After criticism, councillors have decided to look at alternative ways of address the high use of car parks.
