If you're new to forums ... welcome!

On the "Save the Train" forum, we've arranged all the information into about half a dozen different areas or boards, each on a general area of interest such as Help and assistance and The future and places along the line.

Within each of the areas of interest, you'll find a number of threads or subjects. In places along the line, you should find threads about Westbury, threads about Melksham ... and so on.  Within each thread, you'll find a number of individual posts which are messages written by any individual who wishes to contribute, and those posts appear in the order they were added to the thread.

Anyone, including guests, can view any posts on "Save the train".

If you want to post yourself, you'll be very welcome, but we do ask you to register.   This means that we ask you to agree to post on topic, not to post copyright material (unless you can legally do so - e.g. if the copyright is yours), and not to get personal;  you'll be given the full text of the agreement when you click to register.  We require an email address when you register - that's just so that we've got some sort of way to get in touch with you if the need arises and to give us some sort of audit trail.

Anyone, once registered, can post on "Save the train" and we encourage you to register.

If you feel that there's something wrong in the content of a post ... please let us know.  We endeavour to keep the forum clean and to deal with all issues quickly, but we are only human with full time jobs, kids, mortgages ... so we can't instantly act at all hours of the day and night.  We ARE experienced at running and moderating forums and our policy is to be as accepting as possible of any posts ... we do not (and cannot) allow 100% free speech, but we work with a light hand.
