Four railway ticket inspectors have denied making a £15,000 profit in a sales con at stations between Liverpool Street and Stansted (link below.) http://new.harlowstar.co.uk/harlowstar%2Dnews/DisplayArticle.asp?ID=237420They are accused of pocketing the proceeds of tickets they sold to passengers. The three men and one woman , all from Hoddesdon , sold tickets at barriers and platforms while working for One Railway , prosecutors claim. They are also accused of using false credit cards during the alleged nine-month swindle. |
