Ticket Prices?

I've just been investigating ticket prices between Melksham and Filton/Abbey Wood and found some surprising results:

Day Single           £9.10
Cheap Day Single  £8.20 available on all trains!
Weekly Season     £47.70
Monthly Season    £183.20
Yearly Season      £1908

Meaning it's cheaper to buy tickets daily!!!!

How does that work? Huh
