Police inquiry desks to close

It looks like things in the County's Police force may be going the same way as the local hospitals; some of the inquiry desks at smaller stations will be closing temporarily (not the actual station itself though).  In fact the only inquiry desks to remain open in the whole of North and West Wiltshire (excluding Swindon) will be in Chippenham, Melksham and Trowbridge.  This of course will mean people having to travel further to report incidents or present documents etc - meaning more pressure on the roads and a greater need for the train and integrated transport.
