« on: October 15, 2007, 05:11:35 PM »

An MP has started a text service inviting constituents to let her know about their daily travel woes (link below.)

Justine Greening , MP for Putney , south-west London , said she did not feel transport chiefs were interested in passenger feedback.

The texts and emails she receives will be analysed and fed back to Transport for London (TfL) and rail operators.

Ms Greening came up with the idea of a text line after being stuck on the London Underground's District Line.

"I was stuck at Earl's Court coming back late at night from Westminster and felt so frustrated," she said.
