Network Rail will look at the feasibility of creating a 'Manchester Hub' to provide better links with key services across the north of England.

A link between Piccadilly and Victoria stations and a flyover from Ardwick to Piccadilly have been put forward.

The proposals were suggested by Northern Way - which is a collaboration led by the three northern Regional Development Agencies (One NorthEast , Northwest Regional Development Agency and Yorkshire Forward.)
