Recommended service - hourly, according to the GWRUS. Let's work towards that service and towards ensuring all services are used.

TransWilts flows: army personnel
« on: October 04, 2007, 09:30:54 PM »

On the way back to Salisbury from Southampton this eve on the coveted 1827 Cheltenham Spa service (two coaches!), I saw a soldier who was travelling to to base in Gloucester. Certainly in Salisbury I see a lot of army personnel, cadets, etc using the trains to and from Salisbury and interchanging here for hourneys to Westbury, Andover and presumably beyond.

Perhaps there is TransWilts potential here too considering our county's military presence?  Just a thought.

Certainly a traffic flow to bear in mind, with the Army presence on the plain, in Warminster, MOD near Corsham, Buckley Barracks near Hullavington, RAF Lyneham etc.
