Yorkshire Bridge Partially Collapses
« on: September 24, 2007, 02:20:31 PM »

Rail services between York and London have been disrupted after a bridge spanning a river partially collapsed (link below.)

The structure over the River Went between York and Doncaster meant the train operator GNER was operating only one train an hour on that line.

Virgin Trains and Hull trains are also affected by the problem.
