Rather than put up a huge number of calendar posts, I'm putting together a list of upcoming formal physical meetings that I know of and should be at / attending over the next couple of month ... se ehow much is going on (and much in the background).  This is in addition to less formal get togethers such as the ones we've had here at our base in the past month of so, and the on line stuff that's going on virtually every day.

29th September - Travel Watch South West, Taunton
(Travel and Transport group representatives - by invite only)

8th October - Melksham Santa Committee
(Just four of us!)

9th October - West Wilts Rail User Group, Westbury
(Public meeting - Railway Inn, Westbury, 7 p.m.  Andrew Griffiths of FGW to talk)

10th October - Meeting of local rail groups
(Arranged by WWRUG; I await further details)

13th October - Rail Future, Taunton
(Commitee Meeting)

3rd November - Rail Future, Ely
(National Event, open to all members.  I am booked to talk about the Melksham service and will be sharing a platform with luminaries such as Christian Woolmar.   A little bit like "preaching to the converted" may should give us more publicity and wider exposure.)

30th November - Melksham Railway Development Group
(Melksham Town Hall, 7:30.  All welcome)

1st December - proposed Santa Special from Melksham
Probably out on the 09:22 and back at 15:45 - you'll need to pre-book as we'll have to limit the number of kids (and big kids) who come along.
