You can get coloured text on forums such as this by seleting the "change colour" button at the top of the "post reply" box. It will add an extra tag pair to your input box, and you'll then type the coloured text between those tags.

Welcome to the board ... are you a user of the "TransWilts" train service, or more interested in train services in a wider context?
