Lothian Freight Train Fire Causes Delays

Rail passengers suffered lengthy delays after a fire broke out on a freight train in East Lothian (link below.)

The blaze , which affected three flatbed carriages , was spotted by a motorist on the Longniddry bypass at 0540 BST.

The train was stopped at Musselburgh station where the fire was extinguished.
