Wallace & Gromit To Visit Avon Valley Railway

Film and television stars Wallace and Gromit will be the big attraction at the Avon Valley Railway (AVR) this weekend (link below.)

The two characters will be appearing on behalf of their Grand Appeal as part of the railway's Teddy Bears' Picnic on Sunday , September 9 2007.

Steam trains will begin operating on Sunday at 11am , with the last train of the day at 4pm.

Despite the wettest summer on record , the Avon Valley Railway has bucked the bad weather and is celebrating a 10 per cent boost in the number of visitors (link below.)
