Chippenham - Centre Of The Comedy World

The stand-up show which is fast becoming the talk of this year's Edinburgh Fringe Festival is entitled Straight Outta Chippenham and describes life growing up just a few miles south of junction 17 of the M4 (link below.)

Local lad Wil Hodgson , 29 , who won the Perrier Award for Best Newcomer at the Fringe in 2004 , said his new routine is an affectionate but realistic look at small-town life.
