17:43 Swindon to Southampton due 19:44

18:45 Thursday 20 July 2006
This train has been terminated at Westbury. It will no longer call at: Dilton Marsh, Warminster, Salisbury, Dean, Dunbridge, Romsey and Southampton. This is due to a tree blocking the line at Dean.

That makes a change ... It's quite common for this train to START from Westbury and not serve Swindon, Chippenham, Melksham or Trowbridge  Grin

With a tree blocking the line, there's major problems on Cardiff / Portsmouth an the moment and this shortened working is quite understood.  Hopefully there was an easy onward connection as far as Salisbury at least.
