Police Swoop On Train At Swindon
« on: July 28, 2007, 12:00:58 PM »

Trains to and from Bristol were disrupted last night as police investigated a suspect on a London-bound train. The 5.30pm service from Bristol Temple Meads was stopped in Swindon and all trains were prevented from going in and out of the station while officers "acted on information" about someone on the train (link below.)

Despite rumours that a man had threatened to blow himself up , British Transport Police said the incident was resolved peacefully by 8pm.
