Is this the land train proposal ... which isn't quite rail.   More a tractor pulling a series of rubber tyred trailers.

There have been huge numbers of plans for Stonehenge over the years.  I gave a training course in Amesbury a while back, and some bright spark has drawn up a map showing all the idea that have been raised.   He concluded that is ALL have them had been built, there wouldn't be a tree or blade of grass left a mile in any direction from the monument.
