We were caught up with customers wanting to return to London on Friday night, and more customers arriving that night and today.  For Friday night's group, we got them a lift of to Basingstoke where SWT didn't appear to be in meltdown, and the arrivals came by road via the A4 for Reading - a long journey.  Much easier for today's arrivals.

Friday it was very bad at Temple meads, I was put on a 125 train that ran Bristol to Chippenham , then taxi to Melksham, arrived at temple Meads at 17.15 in my front door at 19.45.

That's what we call "Lake Melksham"  Grin  ... search for that on Google and see what you get.

I understand that some groups took 90 minutes to get from Lacock (on the West of the Avon) to Sandridge (about five miles away as the crow flies on the East) on Saturday evening.

Off the rail topic slightly but I understand that the 'Mid' and 'Upper' River Avon is on 'Flood Watch' alert from Malmesbury through to Bradford on Avon:
