Avon Valley Railway Memorabilia Auction

An auction of railway relics , organised for the Avon Valley Railway Heritage Trust by their museum curator Paul Baulch , will take place at Bitton Station , near Bristol , from noon (07/07/2007 , link below.)

Mr Baulch said: "The star item this year is a very rare Great Western Railway cast - iron sign."

"It was made especially to warn the Badminton Hunt not to cross the railway line. It is a very desirable artefact and should sell for over £1,000."
