Trying to get from Warminster to Bath via Melksham
« on: July 03, 2007, 09:59:07 PM »

Here's something strange. I will be moving offices to Warminster soon, and I would love to be able to take the train back to Bath via Melksham every now and then. So I typed in to the journey planner Warminster to Bath Spa via Chippenham, and I got:

Warminster - Bath Spa - Chippenham - Bath Spa: £7.50 single (£4.95 with young persons RCD)

(19:25) Warminster - Chippenham - Bath Spa: £11.10 for TWO singles, I can't get one ticket for this journey. (£7.35 with young persons RCD)

It's beyond me why I can't go via Melksham using one ticket, yet I can do a long detour for a much cheaper ticket!  Huh
