New Service For Those In Melksham Without Transport (Not Us!)
« on: June 30, 2007, 04:06:32 PM »

Local weatherman Richard Angwin is in Melksham this morning to celebrate the arrival of a new minibus for people without transport (link below.)

The minibus which features special low floor easy access will be welcome relief for local residents with limited mobility who struggle to get around.

Funding for the vehicle has been secured by the Melksham 1st Community Bus Group while further funding support was also provided by West Wiltshire District Council and three local parish councils.

This is excellent for people of limited mobility who need to get around in the local area.

Melksham Station is friendly to people with limited mobility too, and would encourage the development of connections there from this service.
