no450 Campaign Update (19/05/2007)
« on: May 21, 2007, 05:37:45 PM »

From no450 Campaign :

Hi everyone,

Some dates for your diary

Thursday 24th May - Meet the Manager SWT, Waterloo Station 16:30 – 19:00

You will find the SWT managers under the Central Clock. Why not give yourself an extra 15 minutes before catching your train to go and speak to them about the 450s. We have been told by SWT, that they are taking notice of our campaign. Lets keep up the noise to ensure we don’t get any more 450s than we already have.

East Hants Rail User Meeting – June 5th. SWT Representatives attend this meeting

The next meeting will take place in the Parish Hall, 11 links Lane, Rowlands Castle, PO9 6AD on June 5th 2007, starting at 7.00 pm.

At the meeting on 5 June we will be asking SWT Reps to provide:

1. A full brief on the Passenger Counts recently taken and SWT's justification for deployment of 450 class trains on Portsmouth mainline services.

2. A full brief on the Health & Safety study recently conducted into the effect of 450 class accommodation on passengers over extended journeys.
