Heartbreak At Swansea Rail Vandal Attack
« on: May 17, 2007, 11:46:36 AM »

Vandals have caused thousands of pounds of damage to railway carriages being restored by volunteers in Swansea (link below.)
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/south_west/6662007.stm

The attack on Tuesday night at the Swansea Vale Railway is the third in the space of two weeks.

The charity says its members are "heartbroken" after bricks and stones were used to smash scores of windows.

The charity runs steam and diesel trains on the last two miles of track on the Midland Railway line which once ran from St Thomas in Swansea to Hereford.
