Rail users have slammed SWT's plans to increase mid-morning and first class fares which could see ticket prices rise by an inflation-busting 20 per cent (link below.)

The Liberal Democrats have tabled a Commons motion condemning the increase as "excessive" and calling for a review of the regulation of rail fares (link below.)
