If like me you have a penchant for real ales then the Chippenham Beer Festival this weekend is a must! It's being held at the Olympiad Leisure Centre only a short distance from the station, details can be found here: http://www.nwwiltscamra.org.uk/beer-festival.phpAs its also Brunels 200th birthday anniversary there are some themed beers to celebrate and what better way to get there than by trans wilts train! I suggest the following: Friday evening session going: Westbury 16:47 Trowbridge 16:53 Melksham 17:02 Chippenham 17:12 Friday evening session back: Chippenham 22:27 Melksham 22:37 Trowbridge 22:46 Westbury 22:53 Saturday evening session going: Westbury 16:45 Trowbridge 16:51 Melksham 17:00 Chippenham 17:10 (this arrives a little early but you can always go to another pub first!) Saturday evening session back: Chippenham 22:41 Melksham 22:51 Trowbridge 23:00 Westbury 23:07

Gee, I would normally be tempted ... what a rotten month for me to be off alcohol Have a great time, Nick .... Friday evening trains are MUCH the sensible way to travel to events like this!
