Some trains replaced by buses - every weekend day through April
« on: March 31, 2006, 05:59:32 PM »

All weekend Saturdays in April (including Easter Saturday), the 20:27 Southampton to Swindon terminates at Westbury and the service onward to Swindon via Trowbridge, Melksham, and Chippenham is replaced by a bus.

The 22:25 train from Swindon to Westbury on these Saturdays is also replaced by a bus - running much LATER that the train in doesn't even reach Melksham until agter midnight!

All weekend Sundays in April (including Easter Sunday, and the May day bank holiday Sunday), the 12:29 from Westbury to Swindon is replaced by a bus, as is the 13:21 Swindon to Southampton. Ouch - the early afternoon train gets pretty busy on Bank Holiday Sundays and that's not a good one to replace by a bus if you can help it!
