That's extremely interesting, Nick .... the need to handle Swindon's gridlock as it grows in the future.   I'm busy training today (no time to fully read up), but one of the ways to mop some of the traffic up and bring it in might be stations at South Marston, Blagrove and Wootton Bassett ... back to Parkman report, 2000 and then extends on the to the new suburbs to be set up under the regiuonal spatial strategy - major growth in Chippenham, Trowbridge, and other West Wilts towns.
