Recommended service - hourly, according to the GWRUS. Let's work towards that service and towards ensuring all services are used.

TransWilts - a new map
« on: February 27, 2007, 05:01:53 AM »

Here's the TransWilts line - with a new map looking forward to the future.

"Regular Trains throughout the day"?  Yes - I'm now thinking that it is possible whereas 3 months ago I was, frankly, giving us only the slimmest chances of having an appropriate service in 2008 ...  and the map shows just WHY a regular service (and much more frequent than every 12 hours) IS appropriate.

See those numbers?

1. Swindon. Largest town in Wiltshire
2. Salisbury. Second largest
3. Chippenham. Third
4. Trowbridge. Fourth
5. Melksham. Fifth
Warminster is also an important town, and the Dilton Marsh area is fast-growing too.

And it's not just size - it's travel flow too.
