I think the service cuts and stock cuts introduced by FGW last December were most evident in the last fortnight, especially last week when many local schools had their half-term. The services I travelled on (between Salisbury and Southampton) were packed to the rafters even more than normal, young children were being jostled about, there were irrate passengers who had reserved a seat but could get nowhere near.
I did encourage those I spoke to to complain in writing, I hope they did. This was also compounded of course by yesterday's football at Cardiff, thank goodness I didn't need to go anywhere.
How have other people's experiences during half-term week been?
