Hello. I think you have come to the wrong place here. This site is primarily about campaigning to retain an appropriate "TransWilts" passenger train service ... Swindon - Chippenham - Melksham - Trowbridge - Westbury - Dilton Marsh - Warminster - Salisbury ... and to other services too.

An excellent business proposition. I have identified 12 major traffic flows that such a service would provide for, and spoken with many potential customers. This service previously WAS provided, but was withdrawn because of a poor decision based on forecasts that proved to be unduely pessimistic. I was speaking with a number of former customers this morning and with few exceptions they're already pledged to return to the train if we can get it back. Please, Mr Harris, Mr West, Ms Forster, Mr Griffiths, Mr Batten and Mr Creedy - puts your heads together and let's get a positive outcome on this one. |
