Taking a "TransWilts" view of this, do you think I should?   I understand that our service has been considered for a community rail partnership in the past, but that was decided against ... not because of any lack of community support, but because is forms junctions with main lines at both ends

If I remember rightly , the DfT didnt think there was much point due to the service reductions (Source - Wiltshire County Council FOI.)

That said , we are committed to exploring every avenue.
