We've had as many posts on this board in the last two weeks as we had in the first six months after we opened ... and that means that it's very hard for me as administrator to spot any issues that need my attention. I cannot - for legal reasons - say "anything goes", but I do welcome views, even if they don't agree with my own. And, yes, let's keep it reasonable on topic.
My personal interest and the main bias of the site is the TransWilts train service - Swindon via Melksham to Westbury and Salisbury and beyond.
Very happy for other train discussions based on the ex-Wessex fleet out of Bristol and indeed other First Great Western stuff - it's all very much part of the picture and indeed we can add other board if need be in relation to particular services.
Also happy to go more general - wider train issues, other public transport matters, especially in Wiltshire.
If you spot a post that's too far off topic and you think it should be modifed or removed, please let me know. I used to be able to do this all on my own; now Lee helps in the busy intro area but we remain a small team. So - please - no adverts for material of an erotic nature, betting, pharmacauticals, motor insurance, software products - each has its pace and that's not here.
If you spot a post that offens or breaks the law again please let me know - decency, copyright, sexual discrimination, racial stuff, harrassment, privacy, libel (and those are just examples), have to be modified or (extreme case) deleted. Fortunately, we don't get much of any of these and a moderator's life - to date - has been a happy one.
If you see people disagreeing here that's fine, but if it gets personal the we'll put a stop to it.
And my email address is
graham@wellho.net to let me know - I can't be everywhere at once. Sometimes I have a train to catch
